The pictures below show the crew setting the concrete decking for the second floor and the view from the upper units. We'll get a picture soon from there on a sunny day and remember that you can always check in on the progress using Gold Coast's Frankfort Harbor webcam!
Construction Update: Walls Going Up

Betsie Bay is starting to freeze but the work continues.
Below are some pictures of the walls are going up and of back filling the inside of the building to start interior walls. This is a short work week, we are on schedule to cover the first floor on Friday, January 4th 2008!

The crew is now laying the block for the walls for the lower units. With the temperatures the way they have been, they must tent and heat for the block work. It's exciting as you can see the progress every day!
Construction Update: The Grade Beams

The grade beams will support the block walls and form the core of the sound proofing between the units.
Construction Update: Drilling the Pilings

Here's a photo from October 4, 2007. It shows the drilling of the auger cast pilings that the grade beams will sit on. These cement pilings are 40' and 50' long to support these buildings, providing strength and sound suppression.
